The Dresden Dolls EP was the first ever available release of The Dresden Dolls. It was handmade by Amanda and Brian and sold at live shows. There are only 50 copies of the version with the black/White cover available.

the answer is that that b&w is the first first FIRST cd we ever made...the artwork wasd thrown together for the first 50 copies so that we could have a CD to sell at the middle east upstairs show (that flyer is now on a t shirt desgin). michael pope took the paper dolls i gave him and knocked out the thing over at kinkos and they all sold that night, I DON'T even have a copy of this cd. they all belong to whatever 50 folks bought them at the mideast that night. so they is indeed rare. i went out that week and re-did the xerox artwork, which is the yellow-tinted one that we made a few thousand copies of, gradually over the next year or so.
